Debating whether to break my vow to boycott Dimel ball. I missed the good performance against Boise, but also missed the s***show against UNM. Which team shows up this week? Maybe I'll start watching and see which team shows up. I think I can be confident that if we suck in the 1st half we won't suddenly be good in the 2nd

I will say that the way they looked against Boise was rare and beautiful.

Can you believe it? I would never have thought that the Miners would be ahead 24-7 at the half especially since the East Coast has never been good to us. Perhaps this is the year that the Miners get rid of the monkey on their back. We beat Boise and now we're ahead in the East. Maybe, just maybe this is our year and I'll eat crow if Dismal proves me wrong by calling the right plays. The season is young yet and I'll keep the crow in the freezer in case I need it later.

24-21 UTEP comes out in the 2nd half totally unprepared. All we had to do was control the ball and run out the game and can't do that.

I think we left the new Miners in the lockers and came back with the old ones, you know, the ones that will screw up a good thing. It started bad and we might still lose. Jeepers from a 17 point lead to a 3 point one. Sisyphus was right.
Now, the Miners score again. I think they want to give us old men, Ky and me, a heart attack. C'mon Miners I'll be happy with a one point win.

How STOOPID can you be where it's 4 and 25 and you go and target the player. What's wrong with this people. Now, it's a 7 point game with a LOT of time on the clock. It seems that the Miners DON'T want to win. UUUUGGGGHHH! Why do we follow idiots. I'm Ps'ed.

By the grace of God we get an interception considering the Miners didn't want to win. Sure, they wanted to win but how dumb can you be where just one more play and you get the ball in the last minutes but you get callled for TARGETING! I'm still Ps'ed at that idiot because that's what he is. DON'T BE CONTROLLED BY YOUR EMOTIONS, USED WHAT GOD GAVE YOU, common sense.
I'm Ps'ed inspite of the win. The coach better get on that boys face and let him know what he just cost us.

I dunno fellas. A W is a W, but geez. This was a lot like the NMSU game. Two awful teams playing an awful game. I feel a little dumber for having watched it. It was a win, but it was more really just sucking slightly less than the other guys. We have to be the most undisciplined team in D1
On the other hand, Dimel has now achieved two things -- an Eastern time zone win, and a win against a quality non-conference opponent.

That's what's called Irony. Today, I don't blame the coaches for almost losing. I blame undisciplined players who can't use common sense. I still have a knot in my stomach for what James (?) almost cost us. Ugh.

A conference win and a long road trip to win plus the ET zone curse is over. Yes it would be great to win big but to be able to bitch and complain about a road win? Unheard of in Miner Nation. I like it.
