As another fan would say, Piss on Memphis.  Any team that is bailing on their conference mates should damned sure not be allowed the economic payoff the tournament brings to the local economy.  Screw the ones that are leaving in any way we legally can.  As they would tell you, its just business.  Btw, if we were invited to the B12 I would advocate the rest of the league treat us just the same.

FYI: Memphis, being a tourist city, a team that averages 16K, and plays in the FedExForum, sold only 10K more total tickets than we did for the CUSA tourney.

If a cop pulls over a Mexican in Arizona and says "papers" and the Mexican says "scissors" does that mean the Mexican wins?

"C-USA officials didn't return a phone call to their office in Irving, Texas, last Friday, but commissioner Britton Banowsky told the Birmingham News last week that the league is considering three options: Memphis, Orlando or going back to a rotation that would take the tournaments to Tulsa in 2013 and to El Paso, Texas, in 2014."

If El Paso had to choose between the 2013 Tournament or the 2014 Tournament, since it looks like the MWC merger is not happening I say go with the 2014 Tournament like I said to give fans of the newcomers of C-USA joining the league a reason to visit El Paso for the first time.

What a great honor it would be if El Paso hosts the first ever C-USA Tournament of the new C-USA!

I would be surprised if Memphis keeps the tourney. I am pretty confident it will end up in Tulsa. Would LOVE to get it here again, just not sure the other teams would like that too much, unfortunately.

It would be great if El Paso could get the last CUSA 2.0 tourney and the first CUSA 3.0 tourney.
